Capcom claims that this survival horror game is not exactly a remake of the original game as it has very different features. The story revolves around a police officer trying to escape Raccoon City during a zombie outbreak and a college student. More than 7.2 million copies are already sold of Resident Evil 2, making the game a huge success. It was even nominated for the fun of the year.

With over-the-shoulder third-person shooter gameplay, you can now move while using the weapons in this video game. Unlike the original game, the standard challenging mode in this one features autosaves, which allows the players to be in the safe room as long as they wish. If the players opt for Hardcore difficulty, they can collect ink ribbons to save your game's progress. 

Character Choices

You can either play as the rookie police officer or as the college student on this Xbox and Nintendo Switch game. Whatever option you choose, the story will get open to you in that particular way. There are supporting characters too, which can be controlled by you entirely.

Thrilling Levels and Modes

As soon as you complete the primary campaign, new levels land for you. It features 2nd Run with which you can play as the other protagonist. To experience the ending of the primary campaign, you need to beat the 2nd Run as well. After this, the fourth survivor mode is unlocked, which was also present in the original game. Many enemies are at you while you fulfill the tasks, which further takes you to the tofu survivor mode.
